Two laptops, one printer

I am looking for info on this. I will be moving my daughter to college within the month. She and her roommate have laptops. I'm not sure what type the roommate has, but my daughter has a dell inspiron 1705. Anyway, I am wondering if I can connect the two laptops to a usb hub, then to a all-in-one printer, so they can both use the printer. Is this possible? Thanks in advance for any help.
