I have been on this forum for a long time trying to figure out. what the hell is wrong with my PC. First off my computer was home-made:

Antec Mid-Tower
AMD Athlon 64bit processor
1 GB DDR RAM
Radeon 800XL GFX Card
Glacier 500WATT Powersupply
Windows XP Professional
10/100 Ethernet card
Dell 17inch Monitor
Saitek Keyboard
Logitech Mouse

Now this computer we built 4 years ago. I have sprayed out the inside with a dust can and made sure everything was connected. It first started while playing Guild Wars..the mouse froze and then the entire computer froze. Then after restarting it would freeze on booting up..then a screen would come up saying it was detecting arrays. I reformated this pc so many times. Recently I just did it and when trying to install windows updates and my VGA drivers it kept freezing. Now the powersupple is fine and compatable with everything. I even left the side of my pc open so overheating is out. I use no P2P software and dont even download any porn on the computer. I use it for work, games and web surfing. I have no idea why the hlel it freezes and even after i reformat it problems arise...i dont want to take my computer to geek squad either because that would annoy me ha

I read a review of your power supply and some problems with the fan speed control were mentioned. The PSU fan would quit working altogether. Is your PSU fan still working? If not, it could be overheating.
