Hi,
I have been working on a Friends PC as she has been having all sorts of problems.
I have run Adaware/SPybot S&D/ Spyware Doctor & the Yahoo Antispy software and I'm still having problems.
What I have done is this.
1. Turn off System Restore.
2. Installed Adaware/Yahoo Toolbar & spybot S&D and ran all 3 of them.
This resulting in removing approximately 1000 Spyware files of some sort.
3. Rebooted and ran again. Still got a few hundred file.
4. Uninstalled the 1800 Search bar manually.
Rebooted and tried again. Firewall wouldn't come up (was turned off).
5. Did a bit of a search and found here got the instructions for Begin2Search/Coolwebsearch removal and followed them.
6. In SAfe mode, Ran Adaware/Spybot/Yahoo and Spyware doctor. Removed all 2hundred files/so.
7. Rebooted into Safe mode and ran HiJack This. Fixed problems
8. Rebooted again and still had the ICS web service (needed for Win Firewall) switched off and disabled nor could I access NAV/Task Manager.
9. Rebooted back into Safe mode and Ran HJT for the log file.
10. got frustrated because I couldn't fix it and decided to post here for some help.

Thanks in advance for any help you can give me.

Hello and welcome to Techspot.

O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [External Dependencies] External.exe
O4 - HKLM\..\RunServices: [External Dependencies] External.exe

The above two entries are suspicious. You may be infected by the W32.Mytob worm.

Download and run the removal tool from the link below. Read the instructions first.

http://securityresponse.symantec.com/avcenter/venc/data/w32.mytob@mm.removal.tool.html

Apart from the above, your HJT log looks clean.
