uninstalled musicmatch and my cd and dvd drives are gone.any help

i uninstalled musicmatch and my drives arnt recognized anymore .tried eveything i know. any ideas out there

What is "everything" that you know? What all have you tried so far?

uninstall the IDe channel the drives are on in device manager. then reboot and windows will reinstall the IDE channel and the drives when it starts up.

the IDE channel is under "IDE ATA\ATAPI Controllers"
