My hp desktop computer can't boot up again and now it has the blue scree of death, unmountable_boot_volume. I think the boot.ini is messed up.
I got the 6-disks for recovery console and the ms-dos startup disk. Problem is the computer won't boot to ms-dos prompt so i can't use recovery console. Is there a way to boot to A drive?

Go into your BIOS and setup your boot priority. You need to set your floppy drive to frist boot, then CD, then HDD.

To get to the BIOS try hitting F1, F2, or DEL when you are starting it up.

I set the A drive to be the first priority in boot menu, but whenever i restart, only the choice menu appears, no ms-dos prompt at all, maybe my ms-dos startup disk is not working.
