I have just purchased a 250 GB Western Digital Internal hard drive and an Ads Tech Hard Drive enclosure case. I installed my internal hard drive in the hard drive case and plugged in the USB cable into my computer (a Gateway model). After I plugged in the USB cord, Windows XP automatically installed the drivers and told me that my mass storage device was installed and ready to use. However, when I go to my computer, there is no new hard drive there to access. I checked the device manager, and the hard drive is recognized, but just not available for some reason. I have tried updating the drivers, but nothing works. I was wondering is someone could tell me if this is a problem with my computer or with the hard drive or possibly the case.
