unwanted internet interference

hey yeah my dad's PC has recently become rather slow, and has fallen victim to crashes as well as unwanted internet ads popping up, even though we have Popup Stopper installed and running. :knock:

I've ran several PC cleanup programs, such as System Mechanic and SpySubtract but nothing seems to rid the ads completely. Sometimes when u even click the close button it takes about 10-15 seconds for it to disapear.

Theres also a WebSearch bar underneath my Adress Bar on my internet browser. How do i get rid of it? (cant find the uninstall program for it, cuz we never installed it[intentionally])

I believe it was RBS that recommended to someone to DL SpySweeper. I did, I must say I am pretty impressed with it. You may want to try it as well.
