i bought a radeon 9600 pro graphics card and it didn't fit into my motherboard. The system is an Emachine t3880 (335 intel celeron D, 80gb hd,intel extreme graphics3 3d, intel pro 10/100 lan,6 usb ports, 56k itu v.90 ready fax/modem, 2.80ghz 256k l2 cache 533 mhz fsb), what the heck should i do? get a new motherboard? I also ordered a gig of ram but it hasn't arrived yet.

Ill keep posting updates as things progress.

UPDATE:

I have an ATI RADEON 9600 PRO graphics card and 1GB of DIMM RAM. The graphics card won't fit into my Motherboard because the Motherboard is PCI and the graphics card is AGP. Can I get a new Motherboard that will support DIMM memory and have AGP slots? If you know of one, can you get me a link? I have an Intel Celeron D processor and I am open to upgrading, but nothing too spendy, I'm short on cash.

EDIT: another thing, can DIMM memory fit into a DDR2 DIMM slot? I doubt it but it's worth a shot. (asking i mean)

never mind, i figured it out on my own

someone could at least have posted (sobs uncontrollably)
