Urgent: BSOD

Hi
I got a new desktop with AMD Athlon X2 3600+ cpu and ASUS M2NPV-VM mobo
from the second day I have been getting this problem of blue screen and it's been getting more frequent
I have windows xp sp2 installed
the screen says to
disable bios memory options such as caching or shadowing
or to run windows in safe mode
what's the problem
shall I reinstall windows or run the chipset driver CD I got with my motherboard

the technical info given on the latest blue screen that I got is:
0x40000080(0x84FC39B8,0X84BD2760,0X84FADD44,0X00000002)

PLEASE HELP ME ASAP

I have done nothing about it except writing to you now
I haven't changed any BIOS setup
I AM ATTACHING THE MINIDUMP files here to diagnose the problem

Welcome to Techspot :wave:

You have a problem with NVIDIA drivers... most likely for your video card. Did you recently update your system? You will have to search for different drivers from NVIDIA to solve this BSOD problem
 
To get the system into a working state you might do a "last known good" restart, or simply delete the video drivers and use the standard xp driver for now.

how did you decide that the problem is with the drivers
did you go thru the zip file i sent
