USB Flash Drive (Write Protect)

  1. I have been using a 1GB Flash Stick to save copies of pictures for a while now. Today I tried and it indicated that the disc is write-protected. To save files, disable this function. Could anyone please let me know as to a solution. I do not have the make/model of the device, only that it is a 1GB device, marked FC-CE

Hi Stetbot11 and welcome to the TS Forum

Actually this thread is "an introduce yourself" and not a place to ask technical questions but as you have asked i'll offer this advice,

There is sometimes a small slider switch on these units that set it as protected, but as you dont know the make model I cant say for sure.

whilst your here could you please read the following threads It will help to make your Techspot experience a more pleasurable one.
