Usb microphone doesnt work properly

I bought USB microphone,and look what's happening-i turn him,driver automaticly installed but when i try to speak nothign happening.In shortly it doesnt work.But when i press record in windows recorder it record what i say,but i can hear recorded waw only AFTER i turn off microphone.Could be this compability problem?I have integrated realteak chipset soundcard.I was thinking about buying usb sound card,but not so sure will that work.

Not unusual for some microphones, which shut down to prevent rf interference, and sound feedback.
