I have a Sata HDD 250GB hdd. I replaced my old Dvd burner that was on my IDE cable and coverted over to Sata. (I needed the drive in another computer) When I installed the new dvd burner I booted up and my computer locked on boot up in BIOS. It ran through the memory tests and it froze when it got to the Sata drives. It detected both the dvd burner and my HDD. But wont boot into windows. I disconect the dvd burner everything is fine. I need help on how to fix this problem.

What computer? What motherboard? What hard drive? What DVD burner?

Did you plug the DVD burner into a RAID port? Try with a non-RAID port or say in BIOS (or RAID BIOS) that the DVD burner port is not RAIDable.
