I tried to restore the laptop to original configuration using system recovery disks. I got the message leave the disk inside CDROM and restart the comp.
It should enter in recovery mode automatically. I restarted but nothing happened. Windows (XP) was restarted. I tried to luanch recover manually by locating the file on CD. It did start, but after few seconds got error message and exit. Restarted the comp but getting error message: "error loading operating system". This laptop has no floppy or built in CD driver. CD is external. Another option was to boot it from CD. But looks like it doesn't see it, even though CDBOOT is enabled in BIOS. Anyone got similar problem?
