Verbatim 8 Gb Flash Memory problem

I have an USB Verbatim Flash Memory, which is supposed to have 8 Gb capacity. When I format it, it only shows 3 Mb !
I can't solve the problem. HDD Low Level Format can't help.
I need a solution. Thanks!

Tedster: I followed your advice, and i´ve found in a thread form 'mscrx' a possible way to solve the situation-it's something about using a program they obtained form Verbatim USA Web site, but I cannot get it. Can you help me with this? (I have a Verbatim 1 GB software but it´s not working, as it didn't work in the situation of the other thread)

sorry. i am not familiar with verbatim's software. Perhaps someone else knows.
I do know that a lot of people have issues with U3 flash drives. If yours is one, I highly recommend disabling the U3 software and deleting it.
