From Via web site :

Taipei, Taiwan, 14th March 2002 - VIA Technologies, Inc., a leading innovator and developer of core logic chipsets, microprocessors, and multimedia, networking and communications chips, today announced the VIA Apollo P4X333 chipset. With DDR333 support, 533MHz processor bus, AGP 8X, ATA-133, USB 2.0 and Double-Speed V-Link chip interconnect, the VIA Apollo P4X333 brings an unmatched suite of new memory, system and I/O technologies to a single platform. In combination these technologies enable Intel® Pentium® 4 systems and servers to achieve heights of performance never scaled before.
So this gives the P4 an even more powerful platform...
Should make for interesting changes in the performance title battle. Via previous released the KT333 chipset for socketA AMD processors. Will we be seeing an "a" version of the KT333 to boost socketA performance as we did with the KT133 and KT266 chipsets? I hope so ;)

Via have some links to reviews of the socketA equivalent here

Wow, all the features look really cool. But why release for the P4 first and not the Athlons???? :(
