Video Card Woe's

For some odd reason my video card fan is making awful sounds. It speeds up..sounding almost like it's about to blow. Then it will slow down...and vice versa. I'm wanting to believe it's about to burn out. Then I looked up when I purchased it. Back in July 06'. If anyone has some idea's on a possible fix..or ever heard of it. I would appreciate some links mabey or helpful tips. New video will be in the works if I fear that it is about to die. Running a Radeon 850XT made by visontek. Any questions feel free to ask.

You can try downloading ATITool and manually setting the Fan Overide to 50% and make sure the fix PWM box is checked (I have a ATI Radeon X850 Pro). It could be your graphics card tempature prob is damaged or giving wrong tempatures.
