i have narrowed some cards down the bfg 8600 gt or 8500gt or oc version of both or even the 7600gt this may sound like a stupid way to choose a video card but the size specs i have to watch esp the length its an hp media center 8034n if anybody has this computer and has upgraded the card please let me know .is there a brand better than the other ex bfg evga xfx etc? help

In order of performance:
8600GT
7600GT
8500GT (lousey)

8600GT's are 7" in lenght for the most part
If your case only accepts half-height cards all bets are off

All the cards will fit in the computer. I recommend the 8600GT for it's HD decoding abilities.
