Video Pauses

Currenly when I run any type of video whether it be a file, streaming, or a game. There is a slight pause every second. It's only a slight pause but enough to be irritating. I have tried many things to fix it but nothing works. I have done a clean install of windows XP, I have updated the drivers to the latest, I have all indexing services turned off, and there are no other applications running at the same time. I noticed it started when switched my mother board and processor to the one below. I have been working on this on and off for some time now. Any help would be appreciated.


Here is my setup:

Shuttle AK39N Motherboard
Athlon XP 2500+
512 PC2700 RAM
NVidia FX 5200

These 2 problems your having are related most probably. See how to fix your cpu usage problemo in the other thread and I'd expect this problem to go away
