Video probs. when gaming.

When playing Motorcross Madness 2 I notice that the screen shows what appears to be a distortion like broken shards of white glass. Like it's missing part of the picture. I have tried setting the resolution low and also lowering the textures and quality and speed settings to remedy this, but it still does it. I have my monitor set to 60 hertz which is the highest it will go. Note that this game worked perfectly with this system before the only difference was an older Asus motherboard.
