Can anyone explain why I keep getting the filmstrip view as a default for folders? When I create a new folder it often defaults to that view. By that I mean that even if I change the view to e.g tiles when I exit the folder and then reenter it's back to filmstrip.
Sometimes even older folders seem to randomly switch to filmstrip view. I can't seem to make windows to stay with the view that I choose for a folder. I ran through the different options in the view tab in folder option but nothing made any difference.
What's going on? I don't htink it's a virus 'cause I ran Norton with the latest virus def. and it didn't find anything.
