Viewing Posted Files

How can I open the files that are posted on the forum? What program will open them?

What files? Where? Most of the time if someone posts something its a text file or an image. Paint or Notepad should work.

I'm talking about the attached mini dump files in some of the posts. How do I get it to notepad.

You are talking about the mini dump files that you may see on posts in TechSpot.

You cannot use Notepad, for these.

You must use Debugging Tools for Window, or specifically WinDbg program.

I have posted a link to this info already, but are you sure that you would want to debug these files yourself ? It can be quite involved. I've been running this program for 6 months (only) and I still have issues with the results.

Thank you. I was not aware that they couldn't be viewed without the de-bugging tool.
