I have a Visioneer 8100 scanner running on a Windows 98 machine (Dell). Whenever I attempt to scan something, I get horizontal yellow bars running across the scanned object the full length of the page. As you Visioneer owners already know, the customer support on the Visioneer website stinks. In addition. the 8100 is no longer manufactured so the company doesn't even want to address the problem, they just want to sell you anew scanner. If anyone has had this problem or has a solution I would like to hear it.
