vista premium and lcd tv

i recently bought a polaroid lcd tv (flu-2632) which worked perfect with my windows xp home computer. problems arose when i decided to install vista premium 32bit. it would load the usual black and white info and then my tv screen would go blue and say no signal. i connected my old monitor and vista loaded perfectly. i again connected my lcd tv and switched on but as soon as the vista logo appeared the screen went blue again. i deliberately unplugged my computer a few times forcing it into safe mode. vista loaded fully in safe mode ??????. i am now at the point where i could happily put a hammer through my new lcd tv. please can someone help.

Sounds like a video card driver issue to me. Update the drivers, the ones that shipped with Vista aren't as feature rich as the official drivers from ATi or nvidia, whichever you have.
