Vista Wireless connection problem

Hi. Would appreciate any advice. I just bought laptop with Vista to use at vacation home with free wireless at the library. THe librarian says that vista users cannot connect to their free wireless(but XP users can). She does not know her network name and the info needed to fill in blanks when trying to find it manually. Thanks so much. (By the way, my spouse can connect with XP with no problem)

What can I say? Either use a different holiday venue or live with the XP machine pro tem.

Vista still needs a lot of work

This OS was released way to soon. I wouldnt recomend that
OS to anyone . At least not on anytime soon.
