Hi,

I've been reading up alot on forums but i still can't find a solution to my problem, which is : -

I have a evga 8800 gt on vista 64 bit, when i start my machine with my hyundai
L72D flat screen plugged in i get no signal, when i plug standard crt monitor in i do get a signal. Once i've booted into windows i can plug flatscreen back in and it works fine, i've tried waiting until windows boots with flatscreen plugged in but no joy.

Any way to fix this yet, i saw a bios update for my 8800 but it just ramps up fan.

The hyundai L72D flat screen. Does that have any settings programmed into it ?
You may need the Screen manual to view these settings
ie English; resolution; color; refresh rate

It may in fact be these settings that are causing Windows startup not to see it.

Please note: I have not checked compatibility issues with your system, as I have presumed that it once worked ok

I have looked at the settings but i can't see anything that might fix it. Good idea tho, i will have a look for the manual on their website to see if theres anythign there. And yes before i upgraded monitor worked fine, something to do with hyundai screen not responding to 8800 card.

Thx for responding so quick :)
