WD1600AAJS Freezes For while

hi, i've abit nf7-s v2.0 with athlon 2500+ barton and 2x512 dual kingston ddr
with fx5200 xfx 128mb, maxtor diamond 9 plus 7200 2mb cache 80gb...

after join WD1600AAJS my system with sata when i recording on it...
it's slow down and freeze my system for while...and my dvbs card works too bad...and suggestion ?

Are you saying:

After installing my WD1600AAJS hard drive, my system is slow and freezes. DVD's don't copy or play...

anyway i mean what u got....but n't dvds...
my system hanging...for little sec. or something like that period...
i wanna just help...update flash bios of my sata Sil3112r it's in NF7-S v2.0

fields is blocked !! i can't update sata bios...
how can i update....SATA Sil3112........
and i sorry again for my bad english...
