Web Access Problems

Hello all
My wife got a new computer 3 months ago. It has been running fine until this weekend. It has XP and she uses Netscape browser.
Recently when she goes to the web the webpage displays but her mouse will not function other than moving the cursor around. I go to Task Manager to kill it and then I get another entry of the same website and I try to kill that and so on. This goes on for several attempts before success. Also the web page will go also go blank. Sometimes I have to unplug her computer to get it to "let go".
Her email works fine.
Any ideas on this?

Your HJT log is clean.

Have you tried uninstalling and reinstalling the Netscape browser?

Download, install and run Firefox and see if you still have the same problems.

I just completed uninstalling and reinstall of Netscape browser and still the same results. I also went to Microsoft and got their malware s/w and ran it but no problems found. Any suggestions at this point would be welcome.
