Weird Noises

Im not sure if these noises on my dell dimension e510 have just started, but i certainly have noticed a faily loud high pitched buzz/humm sound coming from my computer. However, whenever i press on the front of the computer, or place something on top of the computer the noise quiets down. Do anyone have any idea where this noise is coming from and why it is happening?

Could be a hard drive / CD drive. Try disconnecting these and turning on your computer. If there's no such sound, there you go.

If this does not solve it, check if any fan in your computer is making the sound, by disconnecting those possible.

could be a fan bearing going out.
