What do do with files?

Ok, my friend has these files in his AVG "Virus Vault":

windows/mxduo.dll
wmphost.dll

Now, he wants to uninstall AVG due to some incompatibility with another program/s (Half-Life 2 and Counter-Strike: Source) and he's wondering what to do with those files. Should he delete them? If uninstalled, will the files stay in some form of disability? Thanks in advance !

Complete delete

Be sure you know where the AVG folder is,then do an uninstall.
It might contain it's own uninstall,use it.
If you use add/remove see if anything is left in the AVG folder.
Delete the folder(s) and contents.
Is your system running ok without these files ?

Yes, both those files should be deleted as they are both nasty.
