What do yall recomend

Ok so im looking to build a new computer, im an amd fan for one (intel Blows) but im stuck as to if i should build with at 5400x2 proc or a 6000x2 proc. Dont know much about overclocking but want to do it. ill be droping the board and proc in to an antech 900 case. Any thoughts would be helpfull, also i plan to use an ati 2600 or 2900 card (yeah im an ATI fan) so any vid card advice would be helpful altho i dont see much of a point for me to do the cross fire thing. so to be honest i will be relying on advice from here so any horror stories or Pro's would be most welcome.

Shop around for the CPU, there's been some big price cuts lalely.

I'd recommend using an NForce {NVidia} based Motherboard as opposed to Via or whatever. It'll be fine with an ATI Card.
