Question in title; what is VIVO on a graphics hard and what is it's benefits?

Video in Video out.

Most cards are video out only, meaning you can hook your TV up and watch a movie (for example), but not video in.

Video in gives you the ability to use an external video player and using software encode videos onto your hard drive for editing etc.
