Whats better 2.8 Celeron or P4 2.2?

simple question, i have a P4 2.2GHz CPU but someone has offered me a 2.8 Celeron free of charge.....is there any point changing?

Is it a 2.8 celeron or a 2.8 celeron d? If it's a regular celeron, then keep what you have, a celeron d may be a little better than a 2.2 as a guess.

I had a plain 2.8Ghz celeron and it was horrible! I switched to a 2.0Ghz Pentium 4 and instantly saw improvement. The P-4 is much better than a celeron. The celeron has 128KB of cache and the P-4 has 512KB. Thats all thats needed to know.

I cant say anything good about the celeron, especially in gaming. IMO celeron is just worthless to me. I have a 2.8 gig celeron ill sell you for $20. It has been used for about 2 weeks. maybe ill even give it away
