where can you find cheap ethernet cards, on the internet.
What is the cheapest ethernet card that you can find.
I prefer wired ethernet cards.

Ethernet cards aren`t normally expensive anyway.

What I am trying to find, is one that cost around 1-5 dollars.

try ebay they have hundreds of stuff only buy from a seller that at least 98% positive feedback and then check their buyer comments

its alright i thought i could atleast try, anything from the internet will probly be 3-8$ cash shipping.. Best to go to some local electronics store. But either way still may be around 10$> Hope that helps.

Are there special ethernet cards for different routers, or do all ethernet cards connect to any router?

Any modern 10/100/1000 card will work with any modern router. Back in the day old network cards had a coax like interface, but you'd have to specifically go looking for one to get one like that now (thats the only ones that won't work with modern routers).

The problem with buying at Staples/Best Buy/Circuit City/Office Max/Wal Mart/ect is that they charge you $20+. Your best bet is some little local computer shop, or to buy off a friend that has a spare.

You can find hundreds of dirt cheap ethernet cards on ebay for less than $15. Heck, I sold one for about $10 about a year ago.
