Which 500 GB hard drive

A friend of mine wants to build a new computer with two hard drives of 500 GB each. For him I want to ask you, which make and model do you recommend? I have been searching for reviews (he does not speak or read english) and I thought that Western Digital and Seagate are both good choices? Thanks in advance on his behalf.
