hey guys;

i need new power supply(greater than 400W). I currently have 350W which is not that good because I can't run my cpu on full speed. Should I go for generic one, which is cheap....its only 30 bucks. What do u guys think? I also looked for "OptiMax", which is 430W and only for 30 bucks.....Is that better than generic?

Should I be concerned about the volts or rails? I don't know anything about powersupplies....please help

Maybe you can use a generic PSU for a while if you dont have enough money, and save 'till you can buy a branded PSU.
