Which software is good for anonymous surfing

I am looking for software that will let me surf the web anonymously & send receive e mails anonymously too.

Also has anybody used Easy-Hide-IP & your opinion on that too please.

Just beware that these 'anonymous' surfing utilities are very misleading. They don't actually do much at all. Why do you need to surf anonymously anyway?
