Win 2000 Admin password in bios setup

I can go to bios setup and change the admin password but when I get login window in 2000 i enter the same password but not able to login.
can anybody help

I have no experience in this whatsoever..I found this web page

Two different passwords.
The first one is to protect the BIOS, the second is to access the operating system (Windows or whatever). There is no interaction at all.

Thanks for the reply. I was able to get the old password by contacting the technical support guy.
