hey everyone ive researched this topic quite a bit but I cannot fig out how to fix it. MY computer just randomly reboots, sometimes im working on it and sometimes im not. I went into the registry and turned off auto reboot, so the next time it happened it got the blue screen and i wrote down all the info.

here are my computer specs

2.8 pentium 4 with 1 meg l2 cache and HT Technology
120 gig hd
512 ram
dvd rewriter
cd reader
3.5 inch floppy
sound blaster sound card
USB Connectivity:
labtech webcam
Apple 20 gig Ipod
HP all in one (problem started before I installed this printer)

when i get the blue screen i get

DRIVER_IRLQ_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL

stop: 0X000000d1 (0x00000028, 00000002, 00000000, 0xf71cf2d5)

then it goes it its rant about recently installed stuff, but this has been going on for about 5 months so theres no way i can do that.

then i get

usb port.sys - address f71cf2d5 Base at f7166000, datestamp 41107062

i know this question probably gets asked a lot, but if someone could help me out i would really appreaciate it, post here or email me wesbos at gmail

thanks a lot

Try it this way

Disabling the “restart on system failure” feature may permit the exact cause to be isolated: Right-click on My Computer, click Properties, click the Advanced tab. Under “Startup & Recovery,” click Settings. Under “System Failure,” uncheck the box in front of “Automatically restart.”
