Win2003 Crashed?

Hello there guys, I am havin this prob here. In my Dell Power Edge server. Been havin over heat probs. Or at least it says in the Event Logs. Just now, when I logged in, it showed me an error as in a screen with the event errors when you log in after a server reboot. I checked and found a system dump in the "\windows\minidump" folder. My question is how do I read the minidump to find the real culprit....

But how do i read the file? In the link that you have provided, it does not say anything about temperature. Thx fer any ur help...

Hi,

Your system event log showed that it was crashed with bugcheck code AB. Bugcheck code AB is a known problem and it is not related to overheat. I don't have a crystal to see what happen of all of your system crashes. If you can provide more information, I can tell you more. My comment is based upon facts and not not imagination.


Your windows may have multiple culprits, the software problem is definitely one of them. What is the temperature of the CPU?
