Within the past couple of weeks, I've be getting a Blue screen during the course of booting up which says Inaccessible Boot Device. I can't gain access into Windows. Another curious side effect I've been getting is that when I press and hold the power button to turn off the computer, the computer doesn't seem to fully turn off. The Num Lock light on the keyboard still stays on. I would like to try to run CHKDSK to see if that will solve the problem but I can't seem to get to the Menu where you can get the option to boot from a CD-ROM. From what I can tell, the BIOS menu doesn't seem to have what I'm looking for. When I press and hold F8 for Advanced Options, that doesn't seem to mention "boot from CD" either. Is there another button(s) that I should press to get to CHKDSK? Thanks in advance.
