Windows 98 Distortion

I have a Monorail PC with a Celeron 366mhz, and windows 98. I recently had to format the hard drive and reinstall windows. But now certain icons and ALL pages on the internet are distorted(in firefox and IE). I ran windows update and updated the moniter driver, but all my attempts have failed. I have also checked the pixel settings and color settings. It has intergrated graphics and has worked perfect before. My father uses this computer often, so any help would be much appreciated...

Monorail PC, here is your clue. your monitor is screwed up. get other monitor if possible.

It could possibly be your integrated video drivers. Try updating them.

Ok, I tried a different moniter and the exact same thing. I'm gonna try to update the video driver, but where would i find the exact name of the graphics system to download the right driver? Device Manager just shows it as standard video adapter. Would BIOS show it??
