Windows cannot detect my wireless card

I just upgraded to windows xp pro on my laptop and the new system cannot enable a wireless connection. Before i upgraded i was wi-fi capable (wifi was built in when i bought the laptop) but now nothing shows up on my network connections. The wifi switch is on but no possible connections show up on the network connectoins menu. I need help.

You may have to disable the onboard wireless card...

Check your userguide on how to do this.

You probably have to install the drivers for it.

yup

thakns a lot. i just had to install drivers. i went to device manager and stuff. im still having other problems though.
