Hi Creepin082749 and welcome to the TS Forum

To help you further you need to tell us what the stop error is, this is found at the top of the blue screen that you get and can look something like this

"DRIVER_IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL

STOP: 0x000000D1 (0x00000010, 0x00000002, 0x00000000, 0xF9DF7926)

SYMIDS.SYS- Address F9DF7926 base at F9DF2000, DateStamp 411d70dd

With this information we can find out what in SP2 is causing the problem.

You see there may be something in your current setup that is being updated by SP2 and this is then causing the bluescreen.

I know you will need to install SP2 and have the bluescreen but if you dont do this then we cannot help you.

Regards
