Windows Desktop Problem

I am having a minor problem with Windows XP Media Center Edition. There are no shortcuts on my desktop and whenever I right click the background, nothing happens. My background, start button, an programs all run just fine. If someone knows how to fix this, please respond.

Thats odd. All I can think of is some spyware/malware... Make a post in the relevant section and I'm sure Howard Hopkinso (the virus/spyware Guru) can help you out.

are you running through a limited user account or has the right click been disabled by the admin?
