windows desktop trouble

  1. dont know if i have posted in right place but anyway,
    when i right click an icon or any where on desktop nothing happens i get no sub menus.yet it works no problem on doesnt work either when i open programs from control panel or start menu.
    anyone got any idea.

    Check your mouse settings in the control panel to see whether the defaults have been changed, check security settings if your on a managed network, admin may have disabled the option. Try a different mouse to see if it is a problem with the mouse itself....

    tried that still the same ,i think it could be a changed registry but dont know how to find it.

    I had a similar problem and the problem was that sticky key was enabled. Try holding down the shift key for 10 sec and check to see if sticky key is enabled if it is disable it.
