Hi;
I have a new clean install of XP SP2- 7 days old. I was looking at the Windows Install Cleanup program and noted several odd files such as:
Destinations [70.0.170.000], NewCopy_CPA [70.0.231.000], Scan [7.0.0.0.7], ProductContextNPI [70.0.231.000], BufferChm [70.0.170.000]
They are all prefixed with (All Users) and have a [70.........] extension.
They do not appear in Add/Remove and cannot be found with any search that I have. There are about 19 in all. It shows most, but not all of the valid, installed programs.
I have run Avira and AVG anti spyware- all negative- spyware shows only tracking cookies.
I don't know what the number extensions mean- would like to if you know.
Normal programs like WinZip have [11.1.7466]
There are 19 normal programs there and 51 in Add/Remove, not counting updates.
I hope you can help me out.

Upon further searching I find most- haven't tried all, but many are in the registry as Display Names, Product names, and the number as a Display Version. So maybe I am ok. Next question- if I'm ok- can these be deleted, or should I just leave well enough alone? Thanks again.

Upon further searching I find that most if perhaps not all, are related to the install of an HP Photosmart 2575 printer. Whew! Maybe?
