Hello and welcome to Techspot.

During bootup tap the F8 key a few times. You should see a screen that gives you several choices. I.E safe mode/safe mode with command prompt etc.

Choose last known good configuration.

Let us know what happens.

Regards Howard

and when i start normally i get:
windows could not start because the following file is missing or corrupt:
\windows\system32\config\system\

Without your OS disk I don`t know what else to suggest.

Maybe some of our other members will have other ideas.

Sorry I couldn`t help you.

Regards Howard
