Come on guys, help me show some love for the windows ME lol. I have one running on a compaq presario 1688 notebook, and i tell you the truth, it runs like a new computer. Some people dont believe that you can make a pc that old run so good. I can play games with simple but impressive graphics such as Halo 1. so thats one accomplishment. gotta love it! lol

Good for you! I never really liked ME. I also have an old Compaq Armada running XP Pro very smoothly.

NT is going to suck, doesn't do plug and play.

I bought the ME Step-Up version when it came out because it was $49. It ran on an HP computer I had at the time perfectly. I had no more problems with it than I did with 98se. There were some things I liked about it better than 98. But then shortly after I began running betas of Whistler and stopped with the 9x nonsense.
