Hi Everybody!

I am able to play CDs, DVDs and VCDs in Windows Media Player 11.
I am able to Rip Music from CDs.
Having inserted a CD-R or CD-RW into the CD burner and having ripped and having dragged the albums from the details panel to the List Panel to create a list of files to burn, then clicked "Start Burn".
Instead of burning the CD, it is ejected with a message the "The drive will automatically identify when the disk is inserted"
Can anyone help me to solve this misery.
Thank you

The simplicity of this matter is that your CD mite already hav sumthin recorded on. Make sure that ur CD is blank. Test a cuple of'em. If not them I guess the problem is not as evident as I thought. but im tryin my best. give me the specs of your PC.

Hi LyricallyIsane 1
Thank you for your response.
I have tried all varieties of CDs, DVDs all new and formatted. I approached Microsoft without success.
Is it working on your Media Player?
My System is Pentium 4, 3.2GHz, 1 Gb DDR Ram
with Multi format Duel Layer DVD-RW (16 x) /CD -RW(48 x)

I hope this is sufficient.
Thank you once again.
