Windows Media Player Problems

Alright, when i went to go play something on windows media player it automatically mininmized and i couldnt get it back up in view. It has been like that for awhile. I cant use system restore and i tried scanning for viruses. I have no idea how to fix it. Please help.

Have you tried uninstalling and reinstalling wmp?

I was unable to uninstall it. It didnt show up in the add or remove programs

Go to the Microsoft download centre. Download and install wmp10. See if that helps.

If the above doesn`t work.This answered someone elses problem with WMP.It was a different problem,so it might not
work for you,but I need the posts.

Start WMP, then right-click on the taskbar icon for WMP, then select Move from those options. Click the left and up arrows on your keyboard until WMP comes back onscreen - it is simply offscreen at this point. If a list of options do not come up, you are in skin mode in the player. Browse to c:\program files\windows media player\skins and double-click on a skin file - that should open up in the player, and the player should then be visible again."

wmp has encountered an uknown error

I got this new switchfoot CD and i downloaded it to wmp and when i try to sync it to my mp3 it says wmp has encountered an uknown error is there a way to fix it or get around the error
